Hoya vangviengiensis, named after its discovery location in Vang Vieng, Laos in 2010, is a rare species that was also found in Yunnan Province, China in 2015.
The plant, similar to Hoya carnosa, features clear sap and is typically found growing epiphytically on smaller mossy branches in shaded limestone areas. Its love for cool, humid conditions makes it a hardy plant that can tolerate cool temperatures.
Hoya vangviengiensis produces beautiful white flowers that are powerfully scented and long-lasting, blooming for over a week. This is a must-have for collectors of rare Hoya species.
