Hoya walliniana, named after Swedish Hoya collector Pierre Wallin, is a standout even among exotic plants, hailing from the lowland forests of Borneo (Sabah and Sarawak). This species was introduced to the botanical community by Dale Kloppenburg and Torill Nyhuus in 2003.
Unlike its variegated counterpart, which is known for being particularly challenging to grow, this Hoya proves to be remarkably low-maintenance.
