Hoya acuta (Red Leaves)

The leaves of these hoyas are very thick and can take almost up to full sun. Their leaves turn red to dark purple, almost black!

This plant develops black dots with inconsistent watering and exposed to bright light. They can be unsightly (see one of the photos) but not detrimental to the plant’s health in our experience. This can be prevented by keeping the plant well hydrated and not keeping it dry for too long
